How Newspaper Brands Build and Manage Their Editorial Digital Ecosystem?
June 18th, 6PM at TheMerode
Since the first news websites were launched, the digital world has evolved considerably, leading to a significant change in the way news is consumed.
The multiplication of channels, competition from social networks and the development of generative artificial intelligence are just some of the challenges that daily press managers must meet if they are to continue their mission of providing information.
We invited three news professionals, Christophe Berti, editor-in-chief of Le Soir, Frederik De Swaef, editor-in-chief of Gazet van Antwerpen and Danny Lein, CEO of Twipe, to discuss the challenges of digitising news.
WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
Information is at the heart of our society and is vital to its development.
How do those in charge of the daily press manage information in an increasingly digital and competitive world?
What are the main challenges and ways forward?
What is the future of the daily press? What is the future for information, and in what forms?
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Christophe Berti and Frederik De Swaef will be contributing their thoughts and expertise on news production, while Danny Lein, whose company Twipe specialises in digital media development, will be sharing his local and international experience.
